Private Beginner's Belly Dance Classes! Learn belly dancing from an inspiring and patient teacher!

I'd like to offer private belly dance classes for anyone who feels like they need more one-on-one instruction, privacy, patience and a teacher dedicated to spreading the joy of the dance! You'll get to work at your own pace, wear whatever you like, and be encouraged to find the beauty of the dance in your own way.

I absolutely believe in the spirituality of belly dancing, and see it the way it was meant to be seen- a beautiful act that praises life and strengthens women's bodies.

The dance will help with self-esteem, body image, flexibility, moods, and over-all well being.

Wear comfortable yoga clothes or dress up for each lesson- it’s up to you!

The schedule is absolutely flexible, and I will do my best to work out a time that works best for you- lessons can be anywhere from 30 minutes to two hours- again, it's up to you! The price will vary as to how long you want your lesson to be. To give you an idea, an hour-long lesson will be $15. However, trades can be made and I can always knock down the price if you need it. My goal is to inspire you and help you find belly dance as wonderful as I do.

Learn to relax into the art and the beauty of the dance and enjoy yourself!

best shape ever...

i was in my best shape ever when i was a full time dance student. now i'm a stay at home mom and my body is taking the brunt. gotta get back on the dance floor!!!

Long Awaited, i finally found a studio to begin my class again. So excited to see old faces and meet new ones. look forward to seeing you there.

here are the details:

Bhangra Class
Every Thursday: 7:40pm-8:40pm(Starting December 1st)

Rates: $12/drop-in for single class

Note: Class packages are also available at discounted rates. The classes do not have to be consecutive. You have upto three months from the date of purchase to take all the classes. You can also use your card at the at our other locations in Berkeley and Sunnyvale.

* This studio doesnt allow any outside shoes during the class. You are allowed to wear shoes such as ballet slippers or something similar that you wear only indoors. However the floors are sprung since they practice capoeira there so its comfortable to dance barefoot.

THE STUDIO IS LOCATED ON TOP OF THE SKETCHERS OUTLET IN THE GREEN BLDG, RIGHT NEXT TO THE MAKE-OUT ROOM! PLEASE ARRIVE A FEW MINUTES EARLY TO SIGN UP ETC.

mixed-ability dance?

Hey! I was involved in a troup when I lived in Miami, but since moving here havent found a troup yet. I am thinking of maybe starting a dance troup if I can find some ppl interetsed. For those that do not know what mixed-ability dance is, its dance that involved disabled and non-disabled dancers. I have experience in CI and modern, but would prefer to do more a hip hop style dance. Hope to hear from ya soon!
